Bridal Photo Shoot

Greetings to my lovely blog... Haha... Apologise for abandoning you for sooo long! =P

Update on my wedding progress~ Hoho!

Went for my bridal photo shoot on Thursday 3 June 2010.. Had a tiring but satisfactory day!

Left home at about 8.30am and reached IMM approximately 9.30am, only sufficient time to drink some milo and eat some raw egg (its gonna be a long day but i dun wanna stuff myself full n end up with a bulging tummy!) before stepping into the Double Up Bridal Studio in IMM around 10am...

Immediately, I am being led to the make up area. My make-up artist was very nice n professional! She dolled me up until I could barely recognise myself! hahah! Had my hair dyed a honey brown so when she doll me up, she said I look like a mix blood(i wonder if its true...) but teresa did say I have facial features that are strong and I must admit I do look a weeee bit like a caucasian.. hahahaa!

Indoor Photo Shoots

Okok... We began with the indoor photo shoots, where we had a hard time (both me n yj) figuring out how to listen to the photographer's commands: twist butt left, twist waist right, left leg front, right leg back, left arms softer, right arm higher, chin up, eyes down, smile! Haha... Changed between my four gowns (1 Acutal Day Gown, 1 Evening Gown, 1 Kua, and 1 Gown just for photos) and his 2 coat + 4 shirts (1 black n 1 white coat)... so tiring la! had to "balance" on that skinny heels for the entire morning until around 2.30pm!!! 2.30pm to 3pm is a very very short lunch break where yj n i shared a packet of rice n we didnt even finish it before we head out for the outdoor shoot!

1st Location: Greenery behind Hort Park

It was SOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOTTTT!

Have to walk around grassy areas in my heavy gown and smile without frowning under the extremely hot sun! (yeah... sky was quite good to us, didnt rain on us... hahas... just shone brightly away at us.. thank god im not a celebrity n i dun have to take outdoor shoots like this anymore... just once in a lifetime is MORE than enough!)

Have to sit on the grass patch wearing the gown! omg! after that my butt feel sooo itchy~ (erm... ya.. unglam but hahas... thats the fact though... :p) this green spider (around the size of a 5cent coins) keep crawling onto my gown while i was taking the photo.. the sight of the spider made me shiver n i had to brush it off at least 3 times! (yikes...)


2nd Location: Labrador Park

Still very hot but more trees around for shade... while we were taking the photos, i saw something moving underneath the 6th layer of lace on my gown... (btw, i think my gown have approximately 10 layers of lace, aiya.. wedding gown ma... hahas) there is a brown cricket struggling to get out so i ask yj to help me n we "rescued" the poor fella from my gown... (i've got a feeling the poor cricket have migrated from Hort Park to Labrador Park! hahas!)

Guess what!! There was a rainbow waiting for us~ hahas! Life so good on us cuz the sky didnt rain but there was a very nice rainbow over our head... Initially I was in an absolute bad mood from the walking in heavy gown and tiring photo shoots but the rainbow totally make my day! hahas! its soooo lovely~~ ^-^ as lovely as my yj's three dimples~ (oOpSs.. :p)


Finally finish filming at 6.30pm so we head back to IMM for dinner... Woooh! Best dinner I ever had after starving for the entire day~ hahas!

BUT!!! Tomorrow is still a loooonnnngggg day cuz we are taking our Pre-Wedding Video... Look out for update~ :p
